We are responsible for needs assessment, investigation, and fee handling as well as decisions under the Housing Adaptation Grant Act. Your Assignment As a Benefits Officer with us, you will have a meaningful and varied job where you investigate needs, make qualified assessments, and make decisions under the Social Services Act, meet people in different life situations, and support them in receiving the right services, collaborate with service providers, family members, and other partners to create comprehensive solutions, contribute to safe transitions and good planning of services in everyday life We work in the systems LifeCare and LINK and base our assessments on IBIC. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have a degree as a Social Worker. Experience working in elderly care is desirable. The assignment as a Benefits Officer requires good knowledge of legislation and application within the social services area (SoL), knowledge and experience of LSS legislation is an asset. Since the assignment requires good cooperation between different authorities, service providers, and users/family members, you as a person need to have good collaboration skills and be organized. You should have the ability to work independently but also function well in a team. We see that you are creative, flexible, and positively inclined to contribute to the development of new working methods based on new requirements and current research. As a case officer, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both orally and in writing, as well as good computer skills, as high demands are placed on communication and documentation. A B driver's license is required. In order to be eligible for employment within the Elderly Care Administration in Karlskrona Municipality, a printout from the police criminal record register must be presented.
