Boxholm Municipality is now seeking a support assessor who wants to help strengthen quality, legal security, and development within individual and family care. Together, we drive the transformation toward a more accessible, preventive, and sustainable social service – based on the new Social Services Act. About the role We are in the midst of an important development journey where we are reviewing and strengthening our working methods. As a support assessor, you will have a central role in this work and become an important part of driving and developing quality in our operations. You will have the opportunity to combine qualified administrative authority with an active responsibility to develop and strengthen quality in the operations, as well as drive improvements in working methods and processes. As a support assessor, you work with administrative authority according to the Social Services Act (SoL), with elderly clients. The assignment also includes handling matters related to the Disability Services Act (LSS), where good knowledge and understanding of the legislation is important. The position also includes: Handling and assessment of services according to SoL Handling of travel services matters Estate administration Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Active participation in change and development work related to the new Social Services Act We work for a more cohesive, legally secure, and person-centered approach – where you get to participate and influence how the assignment develops going forward. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is educated as a social worker or has other education that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience with administrative authority according to SoL and knowledge of LSS and IBIC. Experience with travel services and estate administration is a merit, but not a requirement. You are: Confident in your role as a support assessor in making decisions and working in a politically governed organization Structured, responsible, and professional with the ability to lead yourself Engaged in quality development and have a desire to contribute to improvement and development Interested in development work and new working methods as well as keeping up with external trends Skilled at expressing yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written Selection and interviews take place on an ongoing basis.
