Boxholm Municipality is now seeking an Assistance Assessment Officer who wants to strengthen quality, legal certainty, and development within individual and family care. About the Role We're in the middle of an important development journey where we're reviewing and strengthening our working methods. As an Assistance Assessment Officer, you'll have a central role in this work and become an important part of driving and developing quality in the operation. You'll have the opportunity to combine qualified government administration with an active responsibility for developing and strengthening quality in the operation, and for driving improvement of working methods and processes. As an Assistance Assessment Officer, you work with government administration according to the Social Services Act (SoL), with older people as your target group. The assignment also includes case handling related to the Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS), where good knowledge and understanding of the legislation is important. The position also includes: Handling and assessment of interventions according to SoL Handling of travel service matters Estate administration Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Active participation in change and development work related to the new Social Services Act We work toward a more cohesive, legally secure, and individual-focused approach – where you get to participate and influence how the assignment develops going forward. Qualifications We're looking for someone who is trained as a social worker or has other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience with government administration according to SoL and knowledge within LSS and IBIC. Experience with travel services and estate administration is a merit, but not a requirement. You are: Confident in your role as an Assistance Assessment Officer in making decisions and working in a politically governed organization Structured, responsible, and professional with an ability for self-leadership Engaged in quality development and have a desire to contribute to improvement and development Interested in development work and new working methods as well as environmental monitoring Skilled at expressing yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing Selection and interviews are ongoing.
