Clinical Physiology in Örnsköldsvik is a workplace with approximately 8 employees and several cardiologists. We perform clinical physiological examinations for hospitals and primary care in Örnsköldsvik. Several examinations are conducted in collaboration with the cardiology clinic, for example stress tests (work-EKG), echocardiographic examinations of the heart, and arrhythmia diagnostics, including long-term EKG recording. In addition, we perform EEG, peripheral circulation examination, spirometry, sleep recordings, and 24-hour blood pressure measurements. The hospital's pacemaker operations also originate from clinical physiology. We continually work to improve and develop our operations as quality and patient safety are important to us. The position is a full-time temporary assignment with start date September 1, 2026 through February 28, 2027. Responsibilities • Perform examinations such as stress tests and EEG. • Receive and prepare patients for examinations such as echocardiography. • Connect and disconnect equipment and provide information about examinations to be conducted at the patient's home. • Develop competence in interpreting long-term EKG, etc. • Handle healthcare administration at the clinic, such as booking appointments. • Participate in maintaining hygiene standards on the unit.
