Job Description You will work in a varied laboratory environment. We operate 24/7 and cover areas including clinical chemistry, immunochemistry, hematology, coagulation, transfusion medicine, and some microbiology. During daytime on weekdays, we also have blood collection services and an anticoagulation clinic for patients. Additionally, we supervise students from Linköping University. Work shifts vary between day/evening/night/weekend work, giving you variety in your tasks. Work Team As a member of the laboratory medicine team, you will join a fantastic group where ideas, problems, and creative solutions are discussed with both colleagues and management. As a smaller hospital laboratory with 17 employees, you will have the opportunity to work on varied tasks. We work in an open climate where you participate in continuous improvement initiatives for workplace development alongside pleasant colleagues. About You You are a certified biomedical analyst or have a degree as a medical biologist. Introduction and training will be tailored to your educational and professional background. Experience with serology courses is a merit. As a person, you enjoy juggling multiple tasks. You are also service-oriented, quality-conscious, and structured, and can prioritize your work efficiently and carefully. The position requires you to work independently as well as in a team. You have good collaboration skills and are expected to be engaged, take initiative, and contribute with colleagues to developing the operation.
