About the Operation Laboratory Medicine in Dalarna comprises the specialties of Transfusion Medicine, Clinical Chemistry, and Clinical Microbiology. We work across boundaries between different departments. Our operations also span the entire region with laboratories in Avesta, Borlänge, Falun, Ludvika, and Mora. With major investments made in Laboratory Medicine Dalarna in recent years, you will work in fresh and newly renovated facilities in an environment with modern equipment. Job Responsibilities Are you our next colleague at the Blood Center in Falun? At our serology laboratory, you will be offered meaningful and developmental work. Our focus is to deliver quality-assured blood products and analysis results to our clients. The work includes laboratory tasks related to immunology, blood group serology, and transfusion medicine. This includes instrument handling, manual methods, result assessment, troubleshooting, and customer and referring physician contacts. Following individual orientation, you will join a work team with continuous evening and weekend duties. We strive for each employee to grow and broaden their competence to create a sustainable staffing situation. You will make independent decisions based on our procedures and routines. Opportunities exist to participate in operational development and improvement work, thereby influencing both work methods and processes. Future tasks involving blood component preparation and/or blood donor collection may be included in the position, depending on your profile. This is a permanent position. Working hours are scheduled for both daytime and inconvenient hours—but currently not night shifts. Start date by agreement.
