We are looking for a biomedical analyst for the Laboratory at Arvika Hospital and Primary Care Arvika and surrounding areas. Your Workplace Laboratory Medicine Arvika and the Säffle area has over 30 employees. Within clinical chemistry, analysis work, specimen collection, and functional examinations are performed at Arvika Hospital and in primary care laboratories in Eda, Säffle, Verkstaden, and Årjäng. Within transfusion medicine, blood donation and serological examinations are conducted. The position is located at the Laboratory at Arvika Hospital and primary care in Arvika and surrounding areas. Your Responsibilities We offer you a responsible, developmental, and exciting work within clinical chemistry and transfusion medicine. The work involves analysis work where the focus is on ensuring high quality and efficiency in the workflow. The tasks are varied and include handling of instruments, assessment of analysis results, specimen collection and functional examinations, blood donation, and serological examinations. The position includes day, evening, weekend, and night work. Your Knowledge and Competencies We are looking for someone who is a licensed biomedical analyst. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. Due to work-related travel, a Class B driver's license is considered meritorious, but not required. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities. The work requires that you are thorough, well-organized, and have good communication skills. You enjoy working with change and development initiatives. You are flexible and enjoy working in a team, have good collaboration skills, and remain calm even when the situation demands it. A trial employment may be applied.
