Our Operations Clinical Chemistry and Pharmacology (KKF) is part of the Academic Laboratory operational area. We conduct highly specialized diagnostics 24/7 and offer expert guidance in chemistry and pharmacology. The operation handles approximately 6,500 test tubes per weekday. Our analyses are fast, quality-assured, and designed to support healthcare processes and promote research and development. We also provide support to patient-facing operations in both inpatient and outpatient care, as well as sample collection during office hours at Akademiska Hospital and at the laboratory in Enköping. Within KKF, approximately 140 employees work, and we strive to be an attractive workplace characterized by professionalism, commitment, and good leadership. Your Assignment As a biomedical analyst at Clinical Chemistry and Pharmacology, you are offered qualified and varied work in a high-tech laboratory environment. Tasks include independent laboratory work, including pre-analytical work, assessment and technical approval of analyses. You will have a primary focus toward one of our specialized analysis laboratories and will primarily work with cell and molecular biological methods, genotyping, and flow cytometry. The role also involves responsibility for contributing to diagnostics, education, information, and quality assurance within the operation. Your Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed biomedical analyst. It is meritorious if you have experience with similar tasks from other hospital laboratories. Furthermore, it is meritorious to have knowledge of sample reception, general chemistry, hematology, and coagulation. You are quality-conscious, work in a structured and thorough manner, and have good collaboration skills, a humble approach, and enjoy sharing your knowledge. You are flexible, solution-oriented, and thrive in an operation with varying work pace. The work requires you to quickly learn new tasks and be able to work both independently and in a group. Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement for the position, as the work includes communication, documentation, and quality assurance in Swedish. Personal suitability, initiative, and the ability to quickly get up to speed will be given great importance. We Offer Permanent employment at 100%, at Clinical Chemistry and Pharmacology, Akademiska Hospital. Start date by agreement. A trial period may be applied. After completed training, duties include daytime shifts (Monday – Friday, 8:00-16:45). Once you are settled in the work, there is an opportunity to work on-call shifts (evenings and weekends). With regular work during inconvenient hours, a fixed salary supplement and compensation per inconvenient shift are paid, in addition to regular on-call and overtime compensation.
