The Physiology Unit in Gävle operates within the areas of clinical physiology, clinical neurophysiology, and nuclear medicine. We are 35 employees across various professional categories including physicians, biomedical analysts, medical secretaries, hospital physicists, and nursing assistants. We perform approximately 15,000 examinations per year at the unit.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES
As a biomedical analyst at our physiology unit, you will perform various types of patient examinations on both adults and children within your respective area.
As a biomedical analyst with us, you will work with, among other things:
• ultrasound of the heart and blood vessels, exercise ECG, and spirometry within clinical physiology
• myocardial scintigraphy, skeletal scintigraphy, and lung scintigraphy within nuclear medicine
• EEG and neurography within clinical neurophysiology.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is positive and wants to contribute to a good work environment where you are part of the team! You are expected to take personal responsibility for your examinations while collaborating with your colleagues, so you should be receptive and able to communicate well. When stressful situations arise, you have the ability to remain calm and focus on the right things.
In the role of biomedical analyst, you should:
• be a licensed biomedical analyst, preferably with a focus on clinical physiology
• have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.
For this position, it is advantageous if you have a few years of experience in the profession, but if you are new to the field, you are warmly welcome to apply.
We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
