In 2027, we are moving into our new state-of-the-art animal hospital with a completely new rehabilitation department. At AniCura Kalmarsund Animal Hospital, engaged colleagues work in areas including orthopedics, neurology, surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology, cardiology, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, and reproduction. We offer advanced diagnostics with both CT and MRI, have a 24-hour inpatient care department, and an emergency clinic open daily between 08:00–22:00. Our modern facilities and well-equipped rehabilitation department provide the best conditions for offering high-quality rehabilitation and care. We are now seeking a biomedical analyst for our operations in Kalmarsund. Here you will have a varied role where you work both independently and closely with your laboratory colleagues, while collaborating with veterinarians, licensed veterinary technicians, and animal care staff. You will have a varied and important role with us As a BMA with us, you will be a central part of the diagnostic chain. Your work contributes directly to ensuring our patients receive the right care at the right time. The work tasks are varied and may include: Culturing and resistance determination of bacteria. Chemical, hematological, and immunological analyses. Urine sample examinations. Serological diagnostics of Borrelia and Anaplasma. Genetic diagnostics. This is a role for someone who enjoys both meticulous laboratory work and close collaboration with the clinical operations. Who are we looking for? We are seeking someone who is trained as a biomedical analyst or has equivalent expertise. You prioritize quality and service and have a structured work approach.
