The Technology and Property Management department is responsible for Botkyrka Municipality's public buildings and general water and sewage infrastructure. We develop and manage the municipality's properties and plan and implement investments in both new and existing buildings and water and sewage systems to meet the municipality's long-term needs. The department also handles property operations, grounds maintenance, facility cleaning, transport and vehicle services. With approximately 300 employees, we work toward sustainable solutions and well-functioning community services. The Role and Responsibilities As a BIM and Document Controller, you ensure that the property management department receives correct information from construction, renovation, and maintenance projects. You set requirements, review, and quality assure deliveries of BIM models, as-built documentation, operations and maintenance documentation, and technical data. The information must meet requirements regarding format, metadata, classification, naming, versions, and traceability before it is received into the management department's systems and archives. You work both operatively and in a supporting capacity. This means you handle models and drawings, follow up on document deliveries, and provide support to colleagues, project managers, designers, and consultants on matters related to BIM, CAD, and as-built documentation. Your main responsibilities: Manage and update Revit models, including drawings, quantity takeoffs, areas, and incorporation of additional areas, such as A-temp Manage and update AutoCAD models, both existing drawing material and incoming as-built documentation across various disciplines Administer the digital archive Twinfinity, including files, users, and internal reviews for new users Review, follow up on, and incorporate as-built documentation, operations and maintenance documentation, and other changes in documents and models Provide drawings, models, and technical information, such as quantities and areas, and prepare drawing attachments for staff Update and coordinate drawings in the property management system Pythagoras and, if needed, update landscape maintenance drawings in AutoCAD or PDF Define document structure, metadata, and naming conventions, prepare information delivery specifications, and contribute to the development of standards and templates. You maintain ongoing contact with project and design managers, designers, and consultants, supporting them with questions related to the municipality's BIM strategy and delivery of as-built documentation. You also collaborate with the project department to ensure that as-built documentation is received from all projects. The role also includes answering general BIM and drawing questions from colleagues within the department and assisting with strategic decisions regarding BIM and CAD. When needed, you visit project sites to measure and sketch minor changes, such as an added door, wall, or similar. As a BIM and Document Controller, you work closely with property managers, technical managers, energy engineers, landscape managers, safety and security coordinators, digitalization leaders, and project managers. You contribute to a coordinated and cross-functional approach within property management, with a focus on sustainable development, long-term financial management, and value for the municipality's operations. About You You have at least five years of relevant experience from construction, property, or infrastructure projects. Of these, you have at least two years of experience in a role where you have worked with BIM, document, or information management. You have at least post-secondary education, such as a vocational degree in BIM, construction, property, technology, or information management. Alternatively, you have other education or work experience that the employer deems equivalent. Other Requirements: You have experience working with Revit and AutoCAD. You have experience managing and quality assuring drawings, models, or technical documentation. You have experience with as-built documentation and document deliveries from designers, contractors, or suppliers. You have a good understanding of metadata, file structure, naming conventions, versions, and traceability. You have strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as the role involves documentation, requirement setting, and dialogue with multiple functions. We consider it a merit if you have: Experience working in a politically governed organization. Experience with property management systems, such as Pythagoras. Experience with document or drawing archives, such as Twinfinity. Experience developing or creating BIM manuals, technical guidelines, or information delivery specifications. To succeed in this role, you need to work carefully and systematically with large amounts of information, identify deviations, follow up on unclear points, and ensure quality in models, drawings, and documents before they are used in management. You have the ability to create order, keep processes together, and ensure that shared working methods are followed over time. You collaborate with several different professional roles and can explain requirements and working methods clearly. You contribute to a coordinated and cross-functional approach within property management, with a focus on sustainable development, long-term financial management, value for the municipality's operations, and the needs of Botkyrka residents.
