About the Role ISS delivers ticket inspection services for Stockholm Public Transport (SL). As a ticket inspector, you work together with colleagues in a team and are responsible for conducting ticket inspections within SL traffic. The role is varied, social, and developmental, as the work is performed in many different locations and includes several types of inspections. Inspections take place on buses, in the subway and commuter trains, as well as on ferries and local trains throughout the Stockholm area. The work is also carried out at entry and exit points, and outdoors in all weather conditions, at stops and stations. The role also includes administrative tasks, such as issuing supplementary charges to passengers without valid tickets. A central part of the work is providing excellent service through professional, respectful treatment and answering passenger questions about travel. As a ticket inspector at ISS, you will attend internal training that ensures you have the knowledge required to handle the work correctly and safely. A approved background check is required for employment. Who We Are Looking For To succeed in this role, we see that you have: - At least two years of documented experience from a service profession or other relevant work experience, such as customer contact where you have dealt with customer inquiries - Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written - Experience with conflict management Meritorious: - Previous work experience in public transportation or similar - Additional language skills Since the work involves a lot of movement, you need to be comfortable with physically active and sometimes demanding work. As a person, you have a professional and respectful approach to passengers and possess good social skills. You are service-oriented, quality-conscious, and value order and organization. Furthermore, you are trustworthy and have the ability to handle conflict situations in a calm and constructive manner without being provoked. You are punctual, responsible, and arrive on time to work. You are also comfortable using and handling technical equipment in your daily work. What We Offer A place to be you.
