Your Assignment As an education strategist with us, you are responsible for driving and developing strategic educational and civic education work in the Southeast Region. You work long-term to create conditions for learning, engagement and knowledge development for our elected representatives, members and tenants – where civic education is an important tool to strengthen both people and the movement. In the role you will: Drive strategic work within the education and civic education area in the region Conduct environmental and needs analyses linked to education and knowledge building Develop methods, working approaches and strategies for civic education work Coordinate, monitor and develop educational initiatives based on regional and national objectives Work closely with the regional board's education committee on strategic issues Drive development projects and support the organisation on education and development issues Ensure that reports, analyses and knowledge are converted into learning and civic education Collaborate with external actors, for example ABF, to develop new forms of learning and reach more target groups You will be a key person in making knowledge alive and relevant throughout our popular movement. Your Background We are looking for you who have experience of strategic work in education, civic education or organisational development – and who sees knowledge as a driver of engagement and change. You have the ability to work both analytically and creatively, and thrive in a role where you can convert ideas, reports and needs into concrete educational initiatives and development work. We are looking for you who: Have experience of strategic work in education, civic education or popular education Have a good understanding of how a member-based or values-driven organisation works Have experience of driving development or change work Have very good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written Qualifications: Experience of analysing, compiling and converting knowledge into practical learning Experience of project management, development work or coordination Ability to work in a structured and long-term manner with several processes in parallel Meritorious: Experience of civic education or collaboration with study associations Experience of work within a popular movement or membership organisation Experience of developing educational materials or educational formats Personal Qualities To succeed in the role you are: Strategic and analytical, you see long-term needs and development opportunities and can convert them into concrete initiatives. The work and needs can look different depending on geographical area. All regions coordinate the initiatives needed for each region and here is all expertise gathered in the form of lawyers, negotiators. As an organisation we are passionate about everyone having the right to good housing at a reasonable cost. Southeast Region is a workplace that spans 52 municipalities and six counties. We have just over 80,000 members and approximately 100 employees. We have a number of qualified professions and our employees work independently with great responsibility and therefore have great development opportunities.
