Librarian/Library Assistant, Temporary Position

Description Vänerborg Municipality has 40,000 residents and the main town is beautifully situated at the southern tip of Lake Vänern, offering both small-town charm and a rich selection of attractions and activities. In Vänerborg Municipality, there are four public libraries: the main library in the city center and branch libraries in Vargön, Frändefors, and Brålanda. We are seeking a person who wants to work as a librarian on a temporary basis at 75% at the Vargön and Vänerborg libraries. You will primarily work at the information and lending desk. Job Responsibilities - Typical librarian duties with a focus on service at the information desk and media work. - Evening shifts occur 2 times per week at the Vargön library. Qualifications It is advantageous if you have a degree in Library and Information Science or are studying this subject at a university/college. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. Terms The employment is a 75% temporary position with a start date of October 12 or by agreement until April 11, 2027, with a possibility of potential extension.
