Job Description
We are looking for a librarian for the school library at Jämtlands Gymnasium Wargentin. In this role, you will work closely with students and staff on information literacy, information management, and reading promotion.
The position is full-time with a start date of December 1, 2026.
Your Future Responsibilities
As a librarian, you will teach and guide students, classes, and school staff in information literacy and information management. You will work to inspire a love of reading and contribute to developing library operations together with your colleagues.
The position also includes other common tasks at an upper secondary school library.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone with a degree in library and information science, a librarian's degree, or other relevant education that the employer considers equivalent.
You have pedagogical skills and experience presenting to different types of groups. You work well collaboratively and build relationships with both students and staff. To thrive in this role, you also need to be flexible and organized, with a genuine commitment to your work.
