Duties Your responsibilities involve leading and developing the library's work to increase knowledge about how information technology can be used for acquiring knowledge, learning, and participation in cultural life. In this work, you strengthen visitors' digital competence, with special initiatives directed toward prioritized target groups who need extra support to access society's digital services and cultural life. You are also responsible for procurement within selected areas and thereby contribute to shaping a current and relevant media collection. In addition to daily work, you will build and maintain collaboration with civil society and associations in the municipality that develop the library's activities over time. You will be part of a team working toward an accessible and relevant library for Ånge's residents. Qualifications - Degree in Library and Information Science or other education that we consider equivalent - Good digital competence and interest in working with the library's mission regarding information technology, knowledge acquisition, and participation - Experienced with or interested in collaboration with associations and civil society - Initiative-taking and collaboration-oriented About the Operations Library operations in Ånge Municipality are distributed across the entire municipality and include seven units: two combined public and school libraries, three dedicated school libraries, and two public libraries, plus mobile library services. Together they create good conditions for reading, learning, and participation for residents of all ages, throughout life, regardless of where in the municipality you live.
