Job Responsibilities In the role as an inspection technician for heavy vehicles at our customer in Gothenburg, you are responsible for conducting vehicle technical inspection inspections in accordance with applicable regulations. You perform both periodic inspections and reinspections, document deviations and communicate the results clearly to vehicle owners. The work also includes functional tests, assessment of safety-critical components and test driving when needed. You collaborate daily with colleagues at the inspection station, workshop personnel and administrative staff to ensure efficient workflows and high quality in the inspection process. The role includes reporting findings in systems, handling customer contacts in a professional manner and contributing to improvement work and safety procedures. Job Responsibilities in Brief: Conduct inspection inspections, reinspections and functional tests of heavy vehicles Document and justify deviations according to regulations Perform test driving and technical assessments Communicate inspection results and provide recommendations to customers Collaborate with workshop for measures and follow-up Maintain order and safety at the inspection site and follow internal procedures Your Profile We are looking for someone who is meticulous, responsible and has a strong focus on traffic safety. You enjoy customer contact and work in a structured manner at a pace where quality and regulations are guiding. You have good problem-solving skills and can make well-founded technical decisions on your own responsibility. Experience with heavy vehicles and previous work within inspection or workshop is advantageous. You are comfortable working in digital systems for documentation and have good communication skills. Qualifications K1 certificate (required) Vocational training in vehicle or transport technology or equivalent experience Experience with heavy vehicles and their systems is advantageous B driving license required; C driving license is advantageous Good Swedish in speech and writing; English advantageous Ability to work independently and in teams About the Position The position is placed at a customer in Gothenburg. Scope according to agreement, full-time preferably. Start date according to agreement. You will be employed as a consultant via Vehicleacademy.
