We at Bilprovningen are now recruiting additional staff for our station in Stäket! Vehicle inspection is our core business. As a Vehicle Inspection Technician, you will inspect vehicles and verify that they meet the required safety standards. Inspections are performed independently or together with your colleagues at the station, and you will have access to technical equipment, computer systems, measuring instruments, and tools. Our customers visit us from early morning through afternoon, and during certain periods customer traffic is particularly high or low, which requires a strong service orientation and flexibility as our goal is to help all customers. This also means we support each other when needed, and you may be assigned to work at other stations in the same region and in some cases across the country. Since we strive to be available and adaptable for our customers, we are also open on certain holidays each month. Who are you? To thrive in the role of vehicle inspection technician, we believe you are service-oriented and energized by meeting people. You are a responsible person driven by doing a good job and collaborating with others. In your interactions with customers, you are informative, friendly, attentive, and trustworthy. We see that you have completed secondary education as a foundation. A class B driver's license (Manual) is required; if you also have a motorcycle license, that is highly advantageous. If you already hold inspection authorization K1 and KMC, this is a clear advantage. We inspect light vehicles at this station but loan staff to stations that inspect motorcycles, and we would like to see you interested in certifying yourself in these vehicle classifications. You need to have some vehicle knowledge; knowing what you work with and understanding the names of different vehicle parts is important for doing a good job and being able to answer customer questions. You should be able to meet our customers with humility and be clear when providing different types of information. We work with safety, so it is very important that you feel comfortable communicating freely. What do we offer you? We offer you a good introduction and thus customized training. Immediately after completing training, you will take a test to become a certified vehicle inspection technician. Studies are conducted full-time north of Stockholm and are tailored to your prior knowledge. After completing training and certification, you will begin working at your station. Work hours vary between: Weekdays 06:50-18:00.
