Inspection Technician – Forest and Land Work

As an inspection technician, you work inspecting all parts of the electrical grid, such as poles, lines, cable cabinets and more, while moving through the varied and beautiful landscapes of Sweden and Norway. No two days are alike here, and you get to experience nature for real, far away from office environments and fixed routines. You'll be based in Falun and plan your own workdays, which gives you great freedom but also significant responsibility. The role suits you if you thrive working independently, making your own decisions, and taking responsibility for your work. At the same time, it's a physically active job where you spend a lot of time on foot in forests and fields, often alone, which requires both good physical fitness and a willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Work doesn't always happen locally—travel and overnight stays at other locations are a natural and recurring part of the position and occur more often than not. You should therefore be flexible and comfortable with a mobile working life. Working hours are structured so that you often work compressed schedules, typically Monday through Thursday, or according to a schedule of seven days work followed by seven days off, which provides excellent opportunities for longer continuous time off. We prefer that you have experience from the industry, but it's not a requirement. You'll receive the training you need to succeed in the role.
