WORK DUTIES
Infranord has been tasked with performing basic maintenance of the railway facility Västra Stambanan, Hallsberg-Laxå and Hallsberg shunting yard from September 1, 2026. We are now seeking Track Inspectors.
One of our tasks is to conduct inspections of our track facilities. It is varied work and we are often outdoors together as a team. That's part of what makes working at Infranord exciting!
Our assignment occasionally requires us to respond quickly to the facility, which is why we primarily seek someone who lives in Hallsberg or the surrounding area, or is willing to relocate.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a high school diploma or equivalent experience. It would be great if you also have previous experience with track inspection or other railway industry work.
It helps if you are able to be flexible since travel, on-call duty from home, and weekend and night work occur. A Class B driver's license is required, and a Class C license and authorization to operate rail vehicles are advantageous.
