Our team in Jönköping is looking for a new colleague for our lifting equipment inspection team! With us, you'll have the chance to work on exciting assignments with a focus on inspecting lifting devices such as cranes, lifting beams, elevators, excavators, etc. Perhaps you've already conducted inspections before – or you're ready to take the step toward an exciting new career as an inspection engineer. Your work is important: you contribute to creating a safer everyday life for our customers, while you independently plan and take responsibility for your own work.
As an inspection engineer with us, you'll use your technical expertise while meeting people and building relationships. You independently plan your work, are out in the field, and ensure that you document your inspections in a clear and structured manner. We believe you're a person who sees challenges as an opportunity to develop and grow – both in your professional role and as an individual. To help you feel confident and get off to a good start, we offer ongoing training during your first time at Kiwa. This way, you can continuously build on your knowledge and continue developing with us.
We have customers in most industries, from heavy industry to hospitals, shopping centers, and the aviation industry. This gives you the opportunity to inspect different types of lifting equipment:
Cranes and lifting beams
Elevators and escalators
Gates
Excavators, wheel loaders, and construction equipment
Wind turbines
Ski lifts
You work from home with your place of employment in Jönköping. The position involves daily travel, and overnight travel may also occur.
Do you have what it takes?
To thrive in this role, we see that you have a technical interest, preferably with experience or education in a relevant area. We believe you enjoy social work where you meet customers daily and work independently. To succeed as an Inspection Engineer, you are attentive, curious, driven, and thorough. We believe that with interest and foundational knowledge, you'll go far, which is why we place great emphasis on your personality. During your first time with us, you will undergo training in other locations to gain the knowledge you need to perform your tasks in the best way possible.
We see that you have:
Technical high school education or equivalent, e.g., vocational training
The ability to take on new challenges and work in a solution-oriented manner
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Driver's license (Category B)
It is a merit if you have experience in the inspection industry or have worked with cranes, construction equipment, mobile work platforms, elevators, wind turbines, or equivalent.
