Berghemskolan is a municipal elementary school (grades F-6) with just under 310 students located in the eastern part of Jakobsberg, Järfälla Municipality. The school is characterized by a positive and safe environment with engaged staff and strong student achievement. We actively work to maintain a school, after-school program, and youth center where both students and educators feel comfortable and secure. We all work together to create good conditions for our students' learning in a stimulating work environment. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a school nurse, you will work preventatively and with a health promotion focus based on Järfälla Municipality's core program for student health services. Medical duties include health visits, open clinic hours, administering vaccinations, and planning school doctor appointments. In your role as a school nurse, you are part of the school's student health team and work with the team to support students in achieving their school goals. You also collaborate with other staff, guardians, external organizations, and authorities to create a safe school environment that promotes health and learning. You will work at two school units in the municipality, with Berghemskolan as your primary workplace, working four days/week and one day/week at the other school. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a licensed nurse with specialist education in health and nursing care for children and young people, a district nurse, or a school nurse. Previous experience working as a school nurse is required. You have a strong sense of responsibility, are thorough and flexible. You feel confident working independently but have a good ability to collaborate and cooperate. You communicate easily, interact well with people, and enjoy working with children, young people, and their guardians. It is important to us that you enjoy working preventatively and with a health promotion focus in close contact with students, guardians, and staff. You need to be stress-resilient and comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously. At the school, all staff focus on improving student achievement. Employment Type: Permanent position.
