Your Assignment
As an Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, you will have a central role in developing and coordinating the municipality's work within civil defense, emergency preparedness, and security protection.
You will, among other things:
Provide qualified support to management and operations
Develop and implement plans, procedures, and governing documents
Work with continuity management
Develop the municipality's crisis management work
Strengthen the municipality's work on supply chain preparedness
Plan, coordinate, and conduct training and exercises
Collaborate with external stakeholders, participate in networks, and monitor the external environment
The role includes both strategic and operational tasks and requires the ability to transition between long-term development work and current issues that need to be addressed here and now.
Your Experience
Post-secondary education in, for example, political science, security, preparedness, crisis management, or societal planning
Good ability to express yourself clearly in Swedish, both orally and in writing
It is meritorious if you have experience with:
Civil preparedness
Security protection
Preparedness and continuity planning
Crisis management
Supply chain preparedness or supply systems

The position is placed in security clearance. Security vetting and background checks will be conducted before employment. Approved security vetting and Swedish citizenship are requirements for employment.

About the Workplace
The Security Unit is responsible for the municipality's work in, among other things, emergency preparedness, civil defense, security protection, information security, as well as safety and crime prevention matters.
You will be part of a team consisting of a Security Chief, Safety Coordinator, Information Security Coordinator, and another Emergency Preparedness Coordinator. We work closely together and support each other as needed, which contributes to a broad and developmental work environment.
