About the Position As an Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, you will have a central role on the staff in developing our ability to handle societal disruptions and crises. In this role, you will serve as an advisory and supporting resource to the Army Materiel business area and its departments in developing and implementing preparedness plans, as well as planning, conducting, and following up on preparedness exercises and training within the scope of the preparedness area. Together with a colleague, you will represent the Army Materiel business area in the agency's preparedness forum and support work on supply security within FMV. The role also involves collaboration with both internal and external actors within the preparedness area. You will help create security and order by ensuring that our operations comply with all relevant regulations, laws, and government directives. About You We are looking for someone with relevant higher education in, for example, war science, political science, crisis management, social sciences, or other relevant fields, or equivalent competence acquired in other ways that we deem equivalent. It is meritorious if you have education in total defense and preparedness. To succeed in this role, you should have several years of current and relevant experience in preparedness work and several years of relevant and current experience with analytical work in a similar role. If you have several years of relevant and current experience in interpreting and applying regulations, we see this as an advantage. We view positively if you have experience in conducting training and exercises with groups. A basic requirement is that you have good knowledge of legislation and policy documents related to crisis preparedness. The position also requires good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Personal qualities are very important to us.
