Planning Technician

Right now we are seeking a Planning Technician for our southeastern region. You will be based at one of our locations in Växjö, Kalmar, Ronneby, or Hässleholm according to agreement. Duties As a Planning Technician, you will be part of the planning team and will be responsible primarily for planning projects and connection matters within the voltage range 0.4-24 KV. Your duties will include: • Performing electrical surveys, field measurements, and ground investigations • Being responsible for compiling material lists, work maps, and producing other planning documentation as required by the assignment • Creating cost estimates including preparing the basis for these • Based on the client's wishes, developing material requirements, calculating work hours, and compiling construction documentation with records • Updating project documentation as the work progresses • The work involves extensive contact with clients, suppliers, authorities, property owners, and of course with our project managers and installers Who are you? We are looking for someone who is organized and enjoys working independently. You are a person who sees the big picture of a project without losing sight of the details. As a person, you have the ability to communicate clearly and directly and have well-developed social skills since there are many points of contact. You need to be thorough, especially when it comes to meeting deadlines. Merits You should have a relevant 3-year upper secondary education with an electrical technology focus or other equivalent education, and preferably a few years of experience working with electrical distribution/distribution planning. Previous experience with EBR and working with the planning software GURU is a merit. We would like to see that you have a couple of years of experience as a planner. If you don't have experience as a planner but have experience as an installer/technician/equipment operator within electrical distribution and are curious about taking the next step in your development, the role of planner may also be suitable for you.
