Are you at the beginning of your legal career and want to work in a dynamic environment? Now the Prosecutor's Office in Eskilstuna is seeking a legal preparer. Your Responsibilities As a legal preparer, you will perform legal work together with prosecutors. You assist them in their work and participate in preparatory work during criminal investigations and in connection with various prosecutor decisions. You also help monitor certain of the prosecutors' tasks, propose measures, and participate in various collaboration meetings. You may also assist prosecutors during court proceedings. As a legal preparer, you also assist prosecutors and case handlers with various administrative matters. The day-to-day work is event-driven, and cases can arrive quickly, requiring you to make fast decisions and assess what is urgent. Your Qualities and Qualifications We are seeking you who have completed or are nearing completion of your legal education. Upon taking up the position as a legal preparer, you must have completed your law degree. We want you to have a strong interest in criminal and procedural law and the activities conducted by the Office of the Prosecutor General be thorough, organized, and able to follow the guidelines and procedures that exist take initiative and responsibility and can independently prepare your cases have the ability to prioritize, work persistently and efficiently be stress-resilient as the workload can sometimes be high work well with others, build good working relationships, and have an open approach to those around you be service-oriented have the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing have good communication skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. It is meritorious if you have gained experience with criminal cases through studies, internships, or work during or after your studies. About the Position The employment is a permanent position with a six-month probationary period. The requirement for this position is that you have a Nordic law degree.
