Planner Needed for Local Network Project in Energy Sector

About the Position As a planner, you work on developing technical solutions for new construction, reinvestments, and maintenance of power distribution networks. The role involves broad responsibility where technology, economics, documentation, and coordination come together in daily work. You will have many points of contact and collaborate with landowners, customers, authorities, contractors, and internal project organizations. The work involves both office work and field visits to create the right conditions for upcoming projects. You will be employed through Sodajo Consulting and work as a consultant for our client. You work on developing technical solutions for power distribution networks and ensure that projects have the right conditions from both technical and economic perspectives. The work involves performing network calculations, developing estimates and cost bases, as well as responsibility for documentation and material management. You will also have a central role in contact with landowners, authorities, customers, and contractors, where you coordinate different stakeholders and ensure that the project can be executed as planned. Through ongoing follow-up and quality assurance, you contribute to maintaining high project quality, while actively participating in developing the organization's working methods and processes. Required Qualifications We are looking for someone with an electrical engineering background who thrives in a role where you can combine technology, structure, and collaboration. Perhaps you currently work as a planner, designer, or distribution electrician and want to develop further within power distribution. You may also have experience from related roles in the electricity sector where you've gained understanding of network construction, design, or contracting operations. Must-have requirements: • Electrical engineering education or equivalent work experience • Experience in power distribution, electricity, or contracting operations • Good computer skills • Category B driver's license • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Merits include experience with: • Overhead lines, underground cable networks, and substations • EBR • Design work • Contract management • Construction law • Estimation and bid preparation Personal Qualities To succeed in this role, we see that you are someone who takes initiative and drives your work forward.
