Planner/Coordinator

Within Planning, we work with grid issues across the entire chain, from technical studies and network analyses to design and preparation of the electrical grid of the future. About the role This role is central when an electrical grid project transitions from planning to implementation and the designer's solutions need to be realized in practice. You'll participate early in the process through field surveying, dialogue and negotiations with landowners, as well as work to establish the final cable routing. As a planner/coordinator, you're responsible for preparing technically well-developed project documentation, such as technical specifications, material lists, and documentation. You bring technical expertise to procurement and ensure that drawings and construction documents are kept up to date. In this role, you'll have great opportunity to plan and manage your own workdays. Although most of the work is performed from the office, the role offers a varied day-to-day experience with elements of fieldwork, the extent of which varies depending on the nature of the projects. The role involves many contact points, which means you need to have good communication skills and enjoy collaborating with colleagues, customers, contractors, and landowners. As a person, you're proactive and take responsibility for driving your work forward. You have a solution-oriented approach and enjoy analyzing challenges and finding practical solutions. Projects with us can vary in scope – from smaller assignments with shorter timelines to projects that span several years where the schedule is sometimes affected by, for example, land access issues. Therefore, it's important that you have patience, perseverance, and a humble approach when dealing with landowners and customers. You also see the value of contributing to operational development through your own ideas and improvement suggestions. What do I need to become a planner/coordinator at Luleå Energi? We're seeking someone with electrical engineering education at least at upper secondary level. If you have experience with distribution networks, planning, network planning, or project management, we see that as a merit. Experience working as a BAS-P is also an advantage. A driver's license category B and good ability to communicate in writing and verbally in Swedish are requirements. What do you get from us?
