Calculation Engineer in Structural Mechanics for Technical Company

You will primarily work within structural mechanics and contribute with analyses used as a foundation throughout various stages of product development. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform structural mechanics calculations and strength analyses • Analyze and evaluate structures using calculation models • Work with FEM analyses and simulations • Interpret, document, and communicate results from completed analyses • Collaborate with designers and other technical disciplines in development projects • Contribute with calculation support in product development and verification • Participate in developing methods and approaches within the calculation field WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU IF YOU: • Have a master's degree in mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, engineering physics, or equivalent, with a focus on subjects such as strength of materials, structural mechanics, or technical mechanics • Have 1–5 years of professional experience with structural mechanics calculations • Have experience with FEM or similar numerical calculation methods • Have an interest in mechanics, technical calculations, and product development • Speak and write fluent Swedish and English as both languages are used in the work It is a merit if you have: • Experience with ANSYS Workbench • Experience with calculations in the aviation industry • Knowledge of programming or scripting, such as APDL, Python, or Matlab • Experience with testing in environmental durability, such as vibration or temperature To thrive in this role, we believe you are curious, responsible, and well-organized.
