Akademiska Children's Hospital
Tiny hearts need great care! We are a small hospital in a big world, and it is in the small things that our greatness lies. Here we have all the expertise a sick child may need, good collaboration, respect, and care. We offer a really good introduction if you are new to us and many interesting opportunities for development. There is also unexpectedly much joy in what is sometimes very difficult. We take care of the children and their families, and we take care of each other – because we know that we do such a much better job together!
Our Operations
The Neonatology section is a large unit with many employees distributed across ICU care, intermediate care, pediatric home care, outpatient services, and transport services. Together, we all contribute to delivering world-class care to newborn babies and their families. Come and become part of our team working on the world's best job!
Your Assignment
We offer a stimulating workplace with a strong focus on teamwork as you work alongside another staffing coordinator. As a staffing coordinator, you are part of the scheduling group that creates schedules four times per year. You work closely with the coordinator and operational manager. Together, you work toward stable short- and long-term staffing within the section. In the staffing team, both coordinators are responsible for registering absences such as illness, leave, and training. You independently resolve staffing gaps and are responsible for keeping Heroma updated. Medinet is also an important work tool. The team's other tasks are highly varied. These can include tasks such as statistical analysis, administration and scheduling of new hires, temporary staff and students, updating the HSA catalog, as well as various ad hoc assignments.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone with experience in similar tasks. You have good computer skills and organizational ability. We prefer that you have a background in behavioral science or HR, as much of the work involves personnel and employment laws and agreements. It is advantageous to have experience working with staffing matters in Heroma.
Further, we see that you:
• Take responsibility for your work, are solution-oriented, and dare to think outside the box
• Do what is needed and seek the information you need to achieve a good result in your work
• Are stress-resistant and flexible
• Are good at communicating in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
• Have the ability to think long-term and communicate in a clear and friendly manner
• Work well in a team but also perform well when working independently
• Enjoy ad hoc tasks that are of varying kinds
We Offer
We offer a permanent employment as an administrator with assignments in staffing. We use a probationary period. As a staffing coordinator in the neonatal intensive care unit, you work on-site during daytime, Monday to Friday, not on public holidays. Prior to appointment, extracts from the police's suspicion and criminal record register will be obtained. With us, you receive benefits that make a difference; read about the benefits here (https://regionuppsala.se/formaner/).
