As a production scheduler, you will work with planning and monitoring capacity utilization within your area of responsibility. You work based on production schedules and play an important role in ensuring that planning is feasible based on the company's capacity and conditions. The role involves many touchpoints and you work closely with section managers, team leaders, object planners, and production engineers. You need to be able to gather information from several different functions, understand the company's conditions, and translate that information into functioning planning. Your main responsibilities: Work with production schedules and capacity planning within your area of responsibility. Plan and monitor deliveries based on current planning. Monitor capacity utilization and identify deviations and needs for action. Collaborate with object planners and other functions to ensure functioning planning. Maintain close contact with production and production engineering. Gather and compile information from different parts of the company. Read and understand production schedules and ensure that planning is current and feasible. Address issues that arise and drive them forward together with relevant functions. Contribute to efficient planning within your area of responsibility. You don't need experience planning the entire production flow. The focus of the role is on managing and monitoring planning within a specific area, with focus on capacity utilization and capacity. Your Profile We are looking for someone with relevant background in, for example, logistics, planning, or production. You may have post-secondary education in the field, but we place great emphasis on your work experience and understanding of operations-oriented planning. We would like to see that you have: Experience from logistics, planning, production, or similar operations. Interest in technology and understanding of how a manufacturing company works. Experience working with planning, monitoring, or deliveries. Good analytical skills and experience working systematically with information. Good computer skills and experience with, for example, Excel. Experience with IFS, Jira, Qlik Sense, or CPS is a plus. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. As a person, you are communicative, organized, and solution-oriented. You work well with different functions and are comfortable reaching out when something needs to be clarified. You take personal responsibility for your tasks and have the ability to independently drive work forward. To thrive in the role, you need to be curious and have an interest in understanding the business and the work being planned. You are analytical and thorough, but also action-oriented when the situation requires it. We are simply looking for someone who is engaged, unpretentious, and has a natural drive to make things work. Application Process The assignment will initially be a consulting position with employment through us at Skill. The assignment length can vary but typically ranges between 6–12 months with good opportunities for extension, and in the longer term the position may potentially transfer to Saab. The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to applicable security vetting requirements at any given time.
