Job Description
Do you want to make a vital difference for vulnerable people? Then the role of treatment coordinator at SiS is meaningful work. The foundation of our treatment work is to motivate people to adopt new and less destructive ways of living. You will work in a team of engaged colleagues, and with your combined expertise, you will have the opportunity to achieve good results. As a treatment coordinator, you will plan, implement, and follow up on program activities. You will conduct treatment sessions and have special responsibility for documentation and the forms and instruments used in treatment. You will collaborate with various functions in mapping, establishing, and following up on treatment plans. The treatment coordinator role also includes additional responsibility for mentoring new employees and interns. An important shared task for all employees is to contribute to creating a safe environment and ensuring that security at the institution is maintained according to procedures. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, rewarding, and varied.
Our vision is to be a place for change, and this permeates our approach, our commitment, and our mindset.
In your work, you will also be a role model—that is, an expanded responsibility as a culture bearer. Within the agency, we focus long-term on culture-related matters, work that you will be part of.
Qualifications
Your personal suitability is key to vital change. Therefore, you need a strong ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is that you have a solid positive view of people, are empathetic, and can build good relationships. You have strong communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You also have a good ability to collaborate with others and enjoy sharing your knowledge with colleagues. In your role as treatment coordinator, you will have individual responsibility for several treatment plan interventions as well as department responsibilities that require experience and the ability to coordinate that work. You need to be skilled at planning and structuring your work, able to work independently, and take your own initiative. Since treatment work is documented and discussed with various stakeholders, there are high demands for proficient Swedish, both spoken and written.
You must also have:
Relevant university education, such as social worker, social pedagogue, or other care/behavioral science education, alternatively post-secondary education such as treatment pedagogue, with substantial experience in program activities.
Experience conducting motivation and treatment work individually and/or in groups.
Proficient Swedish, both spoken and written.
Category B driver's license
