JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are currently seeking staff for our residential care facility. As a treatment pedagogue, you will be part of a team with several colleagues. In your role as a treatment pedagogue, you support and guide young people who may be at risk—such as those dealing with criminality, substance abuse, psychosocial issues, neuropsychiatric disabilities, behavioral problems, and mental health challenges. Your primary task is to work closely with and alongside the young person to help them reach their goals. Together, the assignment is shaped based on each individual's specific needs. You plan and document your work based on assignments from the social services. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is driven and has a strong commitment to children and young people. You are organized, responsible, solution-focused, and flexible—with particular emphasis on the latter two qualities. You must have the ability to remain calm and handle conflicts in a solution-focused manner, as well as accommodate the young people's varying emotional states and be available for them when needed. For this position, you must be social and have a positive attitude. You will need to collaborate with external partners such as schools, police, youth centers, voluntary organizations, and others. We are looking for someone who: - Has a degree in social pedagogy, treatment pedagogy, social work, or equivalent qualification with at least 2 years of experience working with this target group in similar roles - Has previous experience working with young people, preferably in residential care - Holds a B driver's license - Has the ability to work flexibly - Has knowledge of current legislation and the BBIC framework, and solid interest and experience in documentation work The work takes place partly in evenings, daytime, and certain weekends. The work shift includes sleeping on-call duty or overnight shifts.
