SiS Youth Home Folåsa receives school-age girls with psychosocial problems, criminality, and substance abuse issues. Job Description SiS Folåsa is now seeking hourly temporary treatment pedagogues who can work as needed. As a treatment pedagogue, you work in a team together with treatment assistants and treatment coordinators, and together you are responsible for ensuring that the young people and clients living with us receive the safety, care, and treatment they need. We often meet people in crisis, which means you work with qualified care and motivation work and provide support in daily life. With the support of your knowledge and skills in care and treatment work, you actively contribute to the implementation of treatment plans. Documentation is an important part of your work and contributes to legal security, planning, and monitoring of our operations. You help maintain safety in accordance with our procedures and participate in ensuring that daily routines run smoothly including schooling, cleaning, cooking, and more. The work may include serving as a contact person. This is a job for you if you see a positive challenge in working with vulnerable people in difficult life situations. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, rewarding, and varied. Working hours vary depending on need, and we are seeking people who can work day shifts, evenings, weekends, or night shifts. As a new employee at SiS, you will undergo tailored introductory training to prepare you for your assignment. Qualifications You must also have: At least 2 years of post-secondary education from a folk high school or vocational school (KY/YH) or equivalent education. The education should be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant subject area. Category B driving license Good Swedish in speech and writing It is an advantage if you have: Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, for example in psychiatry or in LSS care Experience from client-facing positions in the Criminal Justice Service, for example as a Corrections Officer Education in care and health services Experience working with our target group (for example substance abuse care, youth care, young women, etc.) To succeed in your work, you have a well-founded positive view of humanity. You are motivated to help people in vulnerable life situations and you share SiS core values of being a place for change. You have a good ability to create engagement and participation among our young people and/or clients. As a person, you are confident in yourself and have a talent for creating good treatment relationships. You have good communication skills and can maintain your composure even in pressured situations. You work well with others and can handle conflicts constructively.
