Job Description SiS youth home Johannisberg consists of two units, one in Sävast and one in Kalix. Our target group in Sävast is school-age girls with psychosocial problems, criminality, and substance abuse. All work is guided by our core values of Respect, Care, and Clarity. As a treatment pedagogue, you work in a team on a ward with competent colleagues who are looking forward to you becoming part of the team. As a treatment pedagogue, you share responsibility with your colleagues for ensuring that the young people living with us receive the security, care, and treatment they need. You provide support to the youth in their daily lives and engage in qualified care and motivation work. Serving as a contact person is part of your responsibilities. In daily work, this includes building secure relationships and motivating our youth toward new and less risky ways of living. With your knowledge in care and treatment work, you actively contribute to ensuring that treatment plans and documentation are completed and that safety for both youth and staff is maintained according to our procedures. As a treatment pedagogue, you also contribute to ensuring daily life runs smoothly with schooling, cleaning, cooking, and more. Your work may also include mentoring new employees and interns. You must also have: - At least 2 years of post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational school (KY/YH) or other post-secondary education equivalent to this.
