Job Description SiS youth home Johannisberg consists of two units, one in Sävast and one in Kalix. Our target group in Sävast is school-age girls with psychosocial problems, criminality, and substance abuse. All work is permeated by our guiding principles of Respect, Care, and Clarity. As a new employee with us, you are offered a thorough introduction, basic training, and further education in areas such as safety, unauthorized influence, conflict management, CPR and first aid, and more. As a treatment pedagogue, you work in a team on a unit together with competent colleagues who look forward to you becoming part of the team. As a treatment pedagogue, you and your colleagues are responsible for ensuring that the young people living with us receive the security, care, and treatment they need. You provide support to the youth in their daily lives and work with qualified care and motivational work. Contact person responsibilities are part of your duties. In daily work, it involves building secure relationships and motivating our young people toward new and less risky ways of living. With your knowledge in care and treatment work, you actively contribute to the implementation of treatment plans and documentation as well as maintaining safety for both young people and staff according to our procedures. As a treatment pedagogue, you also help ensure that daily routines run smoothly including school, cleaning, cooking, and more. The work may also include being a mentor to new employees and interns. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has the ability to build trusting relationships with our young people. You have a positive view of people and your motivation is to work with youth. You share the vision of being a place for change. As a person, you relate to people in a responsive and flexible manner, while being able to set boundaries and follow decisions made. You are secure, stable, and have the ability to maintain a professional approach even in stressful situations. You work well with other people and enjoy sharing your knowledge with colleagues. You must also have: - At least 2 years of post-secondary education from a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) or equivalent education. The education should be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant subject area. - Good Swedish in speech and writing - Good physical fitness - Driving license category B Please attach your certificate of education to your application.
