About Viljan SelfHelp
Viljan SelfHelp is located just outside Söderhamn. We are a residential treatment facility offering treatment to women and men aged 18 and older with issues related to substance abuse/addiction, criminality, and mental health. At Viljan SelfHelp, therapists, nurses, physicians, and social pedagogues/treatment educators work together for the benefit of our clients. Our methods are CBT-based treatment and 12-step treatment with the goal of raising clients' functional level.
About the Treatment Educator Role
The work involves participating in our clients' daily lives and treatment, as well as maintaining good collaboration with colleagues. The tasks include building relationships to provide clients with support and help toward self-reliance. You will also offer clients individual motivational conversations. Additionally, you will participate in client and facility activities as well as in the daily operations of the treatment home.
We expect you to have a professional and empathetic approach with strong ability for clear and direct communication. You should have good computer skills and be comfortable with documentation. We work with commitment to everything involving our clients. You are calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have problem-solving analytical skills, work well with complex issues, and can quickly analyze situations and make decisions. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive manner, while enjoying cooperation with other professions, always with the individual in focus.
Qualifications
You are relationship-oriented and have good ability to establish contact with people in vulnerable situations. You are calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive manner, and enjoy working with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can recognize individuals' needs.
We place great importance on personal suitability.
Requirements:
Post-secondary education, two years or longer
Category B driver's license
Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
Good computer skills, experience with documentation.

Employment Type: Permanent with probation period
Degree of Employment: 100%
Working Hours: Scheduled (day, evening, weekends)
Start Date: By agreement
Collective Agreement: We are bound by collective agreement with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
