About Viljan Ungbo Umeå Viljan Ungbo Umeå is a supported housing facility located near central Umeå. The facility has 7 places for young people aged 16-20 who need housing, social training, or supervision. The operations are tailored for young adults who are expected to soon be able to live independently. About the Role of Treatment Pedagogue We work with commitment in everything surrounding our clients. The role of treatment pedagogue involves planning, implementing, and following up on pedagogical and motivational interventions based on the individual's needs. The work is built on creating secure relationships, motivating and engaging individuals in change, and strengthening the individual's capacity for independence. This also includes documenting interventions and participating in planning meetings and development work. You function as a support for the client, and together you develop strategies to achieve daily goals. Main Responsibilities: Provide individual support in daily activities, social training, and life skills. Work based on implementation plans and pedagogical interventions. Conduct structured conversations, motivational interviews, and use other evidence-based methods. Write journal entries, implementation plans, risk assessments, and reports according to applicable guidelines. Collaborate with colleagues, social services, family members, schools, healthcare services, and other relevant authorities. Create a stable, safe, and predictable environment; manage conflicts and set boundaries. Plan and implement activities that strengthen participants' social and personal development. Qualifications You are skilled at building relationships and have a good ability to establish contact with people in vulnerable situations. You are calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive manner, and you enjoy working with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can understand individuals' needs. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements: Education as a social pedagogue or 400 YHP treatment pedagogue or equivalent education. Class B driving license Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Good computer skills Meritorious: Previous work with young people Previous experience within social work (e.g., mental health, substance abuse, NPF diagnoses) Training and/or experience in MI Experience with documentation in patient records rePULSE Employment Terms Position: Treatment Pedagogue Employment Type: Part-time, permanent Percentage: Approximately 70-75% Working Hours: Day, evening, night, and weekend shifts.
