Welcome to the Department of Psychiatry, Rehabilitation and Habilitation! Our mission is to offer all residents in Kronoberg County specialized psychiatric care, rehabilitation, and habilitation. Care shall be provided in collaboration with other actors within and outside Region Kronoberg, with a coordinated care chain and patient participation in focus. We want to create good conditions for our patients to receive the right care and treatment from the best possible expertise.
Ekeliden is part of specialist psychiatry and is a care and treatment home for adult women and men who have harmful use or dependency on alcohol, drugs, and/or medication. We employ therapists, CBT therapists, doctors, nurses, cooks, and a care unit manager. Ekeliden is located in Tingsryd, about 4.5 miles south of Växjö.
We have our own kitchen and are now seeking a cook who can work hourly shifts with us. We look forward to your application!

DUTIES
Ekeliden has its own family-style kitchen where we prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for clients and staff. We prepare traditional Swedish home cooking with creativity and care for both clients and the environment. Our kitchen has a good reputation and we place great value on the meals we serve.
Ekeliden's kitchen has two cooks who are responsible for the kitchen. Together, you will be involved in ensuring that clients receive good food and good treatment. You will be involved in meal planning, kitchen operations, and ordering supplies.
Together with other staff at Ekeliden, we strive for quality in our operations, a good work environment, and well-being for our clients, where food and nutrition are important for recovery.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a trained cook. You have the ability to work independently as the work sometimes involves working alone in the kitchen. Your values align well with equal rights for all people.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Experience is a merit.
Prior to employment, the employer requests an extract from the suspicion and criminal record register, which must be approved.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3-6 months, start date: By agreement.
Working hours: Daytime, weekends may occur.
