About the Operation SiS Youth Residential Home Gudhemsgården receives non-compulsory school-age boys with psychosocial issues, criminality, and substance abuse. SiS Youth Residential Home Gudhemsgården has recently undergone an organizational transition, from LVM care to LVU care, and is now in an exciting expansion phase. Currently, the institution consists of four units but will expand to more during the coming year. We prioritize staff density and will be increasing our workforce, which is why we are currently seeking additional staff for our operation. SiS Youth Residential Home Gudhemsgården operates outside Falköping. Job Description Do you want to make a vital difference for vulnerable people? Then a position as a treatment assistant at SiS is for you. The goal of your assignment is to motivate our young people toward new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you are employed to provide care and treatment. You contribute to ensuring that routines on the unit function as they should. You play a significant role in providing stability and security for our young people and form the foundation of daily life, including schooling, cleaning, cooking, and more. The work can be physically demanding as you need to participate in physical activities with young people and respond to alarms. You help maintain order and security at the institution according to our routines. Documentation is an important part of your work. You will work to build secure relationships and help ensure that our young people receive the security they need to break established patterns of behavior. Together with your team of engaged colleagues such as treatment educators and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. Working hours are scheduled day, evening, and weekend shifts. Qualifications You must also have: At least a 2-year post-secondary education from a folk high school or vocational school (KY/YH) or equivalent education. The education must be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or other relevant field.* Category B driver's license Good Swedish, both spoken and written Your personal suitability is key to vital change.
