Sköldenborg Supported Housing is part of the Housing operational area and serves people with psychosocial issues and/or mental health disabilities. At the facility, 6 treatment assistants and 1 peer support worker are employed. Right now, the entire Social Services Department is on an exciting and developmental journey, and we are now seeking a permanent colleague who wants to complement the team at Sköldenborg. Job Responsibilities As a treatment assistant at Sköldenborg, your role includes being a motivating, educational, and social support so that residents can have a functioning daily life and receive the support they need to become as independent as possible. As a treatment assistant, you work based on clients' needs and focus on giving our clients the opportunity to practice the skills required to live according to rental law. Job responsibilities may include social support, activation, and motivation work. You document continuously, as well as in implementation plans that form the basis for work with the resident and in monthly reports where the assigned social worker receives information about the resident's status and future planning. At Sköldenborg, we work according to the method of Independent Living (ESL), with the goal of providing residents with good conditions to live as independently as possible and to participate in society's welfare on equal terms. We are currently being trained in and implementing the strength- and network-based approach Signs of Safety, a solution-focused approach that places the individual's participation, resources, and network at the center. Signs of Safety will eventually permeate the entire Social Services Department's work. Work is scheduled on days, evenings, and weekends. Solo work may also occur. To move forward in the recruitment process, you need to have: - Training as a treatment assistant or equivalent education that the employer finds equivalent - Experience working with the target group - Previous experience working within a politically governed organization - Understanding of the laws and guidelines that govern our work - Class B driver's license and willingness to drive - Good computer skills - Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Having previously worked with the methods used within the operations is a merit, but not a requirement.
