SiS LVM home Runnagården receives women with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse issues. We admit women with mental health problems as well as women with behavioral violence issues. We also receive women undergoing medication-assisted treatment (LARO).
Job Description
SiS is entering an exciting growth phase. To meet the growing need for treatment and support, we are now expanding our operations and are therefore seeking additional treatment assistants.
Do you want to help create life-changing differences for vulnerable people? Then working as a treatment assistant at SiS is a meaningful challenge. The goal of your assignment is to motivate our youth/clients toward new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you are employed to provide care and treatment. You help ensure that the unit's routines function properly. You play a significant role in providing stability and security for our youth/clients, and you are the foundation in daily life activities such as schooling, cleaning, cooking, and more. You work to maintain order and safety at the institution according to our procedures. Documentation is an important part of your work. You will work to build secure relationships and help ensure that our youth/clients receive the security and safety they need to break established behavioral patterns. Together with your team of dedicated colleagues such as treatment educators and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, rewarding, and varied.

Work hours follow a schedule of day-evening and weekend shifts or night-weekday and weekend shifts. Night shift work hours are part-time at 95.19%.
As a new employee, you will complete SiS basic training over 10 weeks. The training combines theory with supervised practical introduction and prepares you for the treatment role in SiS operations.
Qualifications
Your personal suitability is key to life-changing impact. Therefore, you need strong ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is that you have a well-founded positive view of people, strong empathetic ability, and the ability to build good relationships. You have good communication skills and can maintain composure even in stressful situations. You also have the ability to work with others and enjoy sharing your knowledge with colleagues.
You must also have:
At least a 2-year post-secondary education from a folk high school or vocational school (KY/YH) or equivalent education. The education must be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant subject area.*
Category B driver's license
Good Swedish speaking and writing skills
Merits
Experience working with our target group (e.g., substance abuse care)
Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, e.g., work in psychiatry or LSS care
Experience from client-facing positions in the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, e.g., as a Prison Officer
Education in health and care

Employment:
These positions are permanent full-time positions and begin with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
