Job Description Do you want to help create a vital difference for vulnerable people? Then the job as a treatment assistant at SiS is a meaningful challenge. The goal of your assignment is to motivate our young people/clients toward new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you are employed to provide care and treatment. You contribute to ensuring that the department's routines function as intended. You play a major role in providing stability and security for our young people/clients, and are responsible for the foundation of daily life such as schooling, cleaning, cooking, and more. You work to maintain order and safety at the institution in accordance with our routines. Documentation is an important part of your work. You will work to build secure relationships and help ensure that our young people/clients receive the safety and security they need to break ingrained behaviors. Together with your team of dedicated colleagues such as treatment educators and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. Working hours are scheduled day shifts, evenings, and weekends. As a new employee, you will complete SiS basic training lasting 10 weeks. The training combines theory with guided introduction and prepares you for the treatment role within SiS operations. Qualifications Your personal suitability is key to life-changing work. Therefore, you need a strong ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is that you have a solid positive view of humanity, strong empathetic ability, and the ability to build good relationships. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You also have the ability to collaborate with others and enjoy sharing your knowledge with colleagues. You must also have: At least 2 years of post-secondary education from a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) or equivalent education. The education should be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or other relevant subject area.* Class B driver's license Good Swedish, spoken and written Meritorious if you have: Experience from client-facing positions at the Prison and Probation Service, such as Prison Officer Security guard training Education in health and care Experience working with our target group of young boys.
