JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
At the residence Fäladen, people who need access to staff 24 hours a day live while they are undergoing treatment at Landskrona city's Addiction Team. Fäladen has 10 places and is staffed 24/7. Work days vary and usually include both social interaction with residents and various types of more structured activities.
The goal of placement at Fäladen is for the individual to gain the tools to manage a sober daily life independently. The job responsibilities include, among other things:
• Providing individually adapted support to clients in their daily lives and motivating them toward positive life changes and increased independence through both spontaneous and planned conversations.
• Providing practical support in the residents' daily lives by assisting with hygiene, cleaning, cooking, planning, contact with authorities, and more.
• Contributing to security, structure, and stability in the residential environment by managing conflicts and ensuring that order and safety procedures are followed.
• Collaborating with both internal and external partners.
Since solo work occurs, you must be able to independently manage the operations during your work shift and handle acute situations that arise and make necessary decisions within the scope of the assignment.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are confident in your professional role and have the ability to create trusting relationships with adults with harmful use and addiction. You are organized and take responsibility, and have strong ability to follow up and work systematically. The work requires good cooperation skills, and you need to be able to follow the agreed working methods we have at Fäladen and maintain order and safety procedures. You have a professional approach, are attentive, and can handle complex situations with calm and good judgment.
You need to have:
• At least two years of post-secondary education at a university, college, or vocational school, as a social pedagogue, treatment pedagogue, social worker, or other education relevant to the position, with a degree.
• Experience with similar work tasks.
