Do you want to make a real difference for a child who needs a safe adult to lean on? About Samskapa Samskapa is a professional alternative with high capacity, but also heart. We believe in models, but we believe even more in people. It's not the manual that changes lives, it's the adult who stays when the wind blows. Samskapa offers support and treatment to vulnerable children, young people, and their families. We work based on the concept of Professional Integrated Treatment (PIB), which means that Samskapa takes full responsibility for integrating the interventions children and young people need to increase their social skills and improve their quality of life. About the Assignment The assignment is aimed at a child in elementary school age who needs stable and thoughtful adults in their daily life. The child has neuropsychiatric difficulties and may need support in managing emotions, impulses, and social situations. Sometimes it can be difficult to express what feels right, and it can show through strong reactions or challenging behavior. That's when we need an adult who can stay calm, be reassuring, and help the child find their way back to balance. Work Responsibilities As a caregiver, you work in a one-to-one arrangement where you follow and support the child throughout a full 24-hour shift, from morning until handover the next day. The work tasks are varied and consist of everything from morning routines, support at school and recreational activities to motivation work, supportive conversations, and individually adapted treatment interventions. Every day is about creating conditions for the child to succeed, develop, and feel safe. A large part of the work is carried out independently and you need to be comfortable taking responsibility and making your own decisions. At the same time, you're not alone in the assignment but are part of an engaged team with accessible leadership and regular supervision. You also collaborate with social services, school, guardians, and other important people around the child. Documentation and follow-up according to applicable legislation is an important part of the work to ensure safe and quality care. You are warm and thoughtful while being clear and consistent when the situation calls for it. We believe that you have patience and a good ability to build trusting relationships. When the child reacts with strong emotions, you stay calm and try to understand what lies behind the reaction, rather than reacting to the behavior itself. You like taking responsibility and are comfortable working independently, while appreciating being part of a team where you help each other, reflect together, and work toward the same goals. We believe that you are solution-oriented, persistent, and have genuine commitment to children who need a little extra from the adults around them.
