The Assignment
As a treatment provider in outpatient care, you will have a meaningful and varied role where your focus is on strengthening children and families, with a special focus on placed children. You work on behalf of social workers with needs-assessed interventions and become an important part in creating safety, change, and long-term solutions for families in vulnerable situations.
In this role, you will use both your professionalism, flexibility, and ability to take action. You have the ability to quickly identify needs, meet families where they are, and apply proven experience and evidence-based methods in practice.
You enjoy collaborating and are driven by working in a team and network-based context, where you and your colleagues and other stakeholders make a real difference in children's daily lives and futures.
Since many vulnerable situations arise outside office hours, evening and weekend work are included, which gives you the opportunity to be there when support is needed most.
The work often takes place in families' home environments where you support parents and other important adults in everyday situations, for example regarding boundaries, routines, and age-appropriate guidance. By working closely with the family, you create conditions for sustainable changes in their daily life.
The role also includes a coordinating function, where you offer practical support and guidance in contact with other societal actors, residential care staff, and foster parents. This is a role for you who wants to combine relationship-building work with structure, collaboration, and concrete change work.
In outpatient care for children and adults, the work on a concrete level means:
Carry out decisions based on assignments from social workers.
Work with treatment based on evidence-based methods.
Participate and contribute to operational changes in accordance with political decisions.
Take responsibility for legal certainty by, among other things, creating implementation plans and continuous documentation.
What You Need to Bring
Requirements
For this position, you need a background as a social worker, behavioral scientist with step 1 education, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
You must also have experience working with treatment independently.
In this role, you need a B driver's license.
Meritorious
It is meritorious if you also have experience and knowledge of working with violence.
You may also have experience working with public administration and be well versed in the Social Services Act.

We are three treatment providers who work with intensive treatment work on weekday evenings and some weekends. We primarily work with children and young people who are to return home from institutions. We prepare and plan their homecoming by ensuring that there is clarity and safety before they come home. We are the hub that collaborates to ensure that all parts fall into place.
Our part of family treatment largely involves bringing the child/young person together with their family and/or network after the relational gap that a placement entails.
