You support them in daily situations, create a predictable environment, and provide treatment interventions based on individual needs and implementation plans. Our young people are of varying ages and many have a combination of social difficulties and neuropsychiatric disabilities. Trauma, anxiety, and externalizing behaviors occur, which requires professional conduct and a low-arousal approach. You need to be calm and be able to make others feel safe even in difficult situations. You will collaborate with colleagues, schools, social services, guardians, and other people involved in the young person's life. Documentation is an important and natural part of the work and helps you follow the young person's development and ensure safe and quality care.
