Sjöarp Group Housing has the mission of meeting member municipalities' needs for placements for adults with autism and significant challenges. Sjöarp can offer integrated housing with daily activities in a calm and secure environment just outside Bräkne-Hoby. There are 13 residential places distributed across 5 homes and the target group is varied. 1 position(s). DUTIES As a care worker, you support the client with personal care and a meaningful daily life and leisure time. You follow the client throughout the day, including in daily activities where occupational activities are adapted to the client's individual needs and abilities. To create security for clients, we use clarifying pedagogy, which originates from TEACCH pedagogy, as well as low-emotional response interaction and MI. QUALIFICATIONS We want you to have relevant post-secondary education in behavioral science, social work, or education, or alternatively relevant high school education such as care and support or children and leisure with a focus on pedagogical and social work. Experience from similar work is meritorious. If you have experience meeting people with self-harming behavior and acting-out behavior, that is also valuable. The work places great demands on you having a calm and composed manner and good collaboration skills. Quality assurance work and documentation require that you can communicate clearly in speech and writing and have computer skills. You must have a B driver's license (manual transmission) and a valid certificate from the police's suspicion and criminal record register. Salary form: Monthly salary.
