Read more at soyagroup.com. 1 position(s). Wallenius Marine is seeking a Bosun for Lakeway Express, a roll-on/roll-off and heavy transport vessel within our Ship Management division. About the Position We are looking for someone interested in a permanent position as Bosun and who wants to contribute your knowledge and experience aboard. As Bosun on Lakeway, you will be part of a great team of colleagues, and in your role, you are expected to lead the deck crew with a positive attitude. We would like you to be a positive person who, with drive, humility, and curiosity, takes on new challenges. Your working style is service-oriented and solution-focused. It is important that you are communicative, value collaboration with others, and have insight into leading diverse nationalities, as our vessels are crewed by both Filipino and Swedish personnel. Requirements and Qualifications We are looking for you with relevant qualifications and certificates for the position. A prerequisite is that you have good knowledge of English, as it is the working language aboard. Meritorious for the role is if you have experience from Ro-Ro or similar vessels previously. It is also meritorious if you have previous experience in the position of Bosun. Great weight will be placed on both competence and personality.
