Description Welcome to apply for the position of Childcare Educator at Villa Villekullas Preschool in Bor. The preschool consists of 4 departments. Two departments for younger children, one mixed-age department, and one department for older children. The preschool works in close collaboration where all children belong to everyone. We also collaborate with other preschools in the area. The preschool has received the distinction "School for Sustainable Development" where the activities work with sustainability in both learning and for the environment. Responsibilities As a Childcare Educator, you work based on the curriculum framework together with preschool teachers. You and your team work actively and systematically with pedagogical planning, observation, documentation, reflection, follow-up, and analysis. Together with preschool teachers, you create a solid foundation for children's development and learning through a stimulating and creative learning environment in education and teaching. The approach is based on you working together with children as a cheerful, supportive, and co-inquiring educator. You should have a trusting and close collaboration with guardians and colleagues. Qualifications We seek you with childcare educator training (or ongoing training) and good insight into the preschool's pedagogical mission, as well as competence to work with digital tools for documentation. You have a pedagogical approach that combines professional care, education, and teaching. Your collaboration is based on the curriculum framework and the municipality's core values where you work with people at the center, development, respect, work satisfaction, and cooperation. You have a positive attitude and are solution-focused with the ability to adapt and meet daily challenges in ways other than what may have been originally planned.
